Mulesoft Architect

Purpose of Job
PlektonLabs is an Information Technology Services company driven by customer satisfaction. The MuleSoft Architect will be a part of PlektonLabs software development team primarily responsible for designing, developing and supporting APIs and ETL applications based on PlektonLabs requirement.
Responsibilities
- Setup comprehensive MuleSoft environments, process and methodologies.
- Establish C4E and CoE in different environments.
- Design applications and API led connectivity model, provide RAML/SWAGGER spec and assist developers to implement.
- Design and develop comprehensive architecture diagrams and related documentation.
- Support QA, Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Product Manager, and other stakeholders while implementing different projects.
- Participate in the code review and peer review process.
- Assist establishment of CI/CD automation.
- Follow a test-driven development strategy.
- Manage tasks independently and estimate work effort.
- Develop and support interoperability APIs and micro-service applications.
- Write unit-tests, munit for 100% code coverage.
- Fix bugs and after hour support if needed.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- MuleSoft Integration and platform certification is a plus.
- Hands on experience on setting up the complete org and business domains in MuleSoft Anypoint.
- Hands-on experience on configuring applications using different MuleSoft deployment models, VPC peering, IPSEC and other platform features.
- Hands-on experience on the RTF deployment Model in EKS, AKS, GKS or Bare Metal is a plus.
- Solid experience on Cloudhub security manager, property management, CI/CD pipelines for different deployment models.
- Practical experience on C4E and CoE in multiple business domains.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with RESTful/SOAP/SOA solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in architecting applications for J2EE including frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring MVC.
- 5+ years of designing and developing experience with MuleSoft experience or 5+ experience on TIBCO experience with 3+ years of MuleSoft experience.
- Solid development experience on MUnit and other unit testing frameworks and tools (Junit, TestNG) and source control software (Git, SVN, TFS, etc).
- Experience on building Mulesoft custom connectors, custom components, and domain projects.
- Experience in API management tools, e.g., MuleSoft API Manager (preferably) or any other.
- Solid understanding about application security model such as, Spring Security, SAML, OAuth, and OIC
- Experience with SQL and noSQL databases.
- Experience on integration design patterns and other related design patterns.
- Experience with issue tracking and collaboration systems: Jira, Confluence or similar.
- Experience on Maven build and deployment process
- Self-starter who can take a concept and drive it through to the design and implementation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and computational complexities.
